The Mauritius Ports Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the filling of the under-mentioned positions:

1.	POST	:	IT AUDITOR
	SALARY SCALE	:	Rs 39,250 x 1,425– 42,100 x 1,525 – 61,925 x 2,200 – 64,125 x 2,525 – 71,700 x 3,725 – 82,875
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’ BSc in Information Systems Management or in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent. Note: Possession of Industry certifications namely the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) would be an advantage.
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 5 years’ post qualification experience, including 3 years’ experience in Oracle ERP / OCP.

2.	POST	:	CHIEF OFFICER, AUDIT
	SALARY SCALE	:	Rs 39,250 x 1,425– 42,100 x 1,525 – 61,925 x 2,200 – 64,125 x 2,525 – 71,700 x 3,725 – 82,875
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’ Fundamental level (9 Subjects) of the ACCA or equivalent
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 7 years’ post qualification experience in the Accounting or Finance or Auditing field, out of which 3 years’ should be at a supervisory level

3.	POST	:	CHIEF TECHNICIAN, ELECTRICAL SERVICES
	SALARY SCALE	:	Rs 33,100 x 1,100 – 36,400 x 1,425– 42,100 x 1,525 – 61,925 x 2,200 – 64,125 x 2,525 – 69,175
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’. Diploma in Electrical Engineering
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 4 years post qualification experience in related field Note: Experience in instrumentation & control and HV power systems would be an advantage.

4.	POST	:	OFFICER, HUMAN RESOURCES
	SALARY SCALE	:	Rs 29,250 x 875 – 31,000 x 1,000 – 32,000x 1,100 – 36,400 x 1,425– 42,100 x 1,525 – 58,875
	QUALIFICATIONS	:	A Cambridge Higher School Certificate or passes in at least two subjects obtained on one certificate at the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced Level’. Diploma in the field of Management or Human Resource Management or Psychology or Law or equivalent.
	EXPERIENCE	:	At least 3 years’ experience in the HR field. Note: Experience in Oracle HR would be an advantage.
	AGE LIMIT	:	Candidates should be 45 years of age or below by the closing date of submission of applications

NOTICE OF VACANCY 2

The Mauritius Ports Authority is inviting applications from suitably qualified local and international candidates who wish to be considered for appointment for the post of PORT MASTER.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Certificate of Competency as a Foreign-going Master Class I as per revised STCW.

At least 7 years’ post- qualification experience as Master of a convention size vessel

Note: The following would constitute an advantage

A Master’s Degree in Administration or any related field
Shore-based managerial experience in port sector/maritime business

OR

Certificate of Competency as a Foreign-going Master Class I as per revised STCW

At least 8 years’ post- qualification experience at a Senior Management level in the Maritime Business

Note: A Master’s Degree in Administration or any related field would be an advantage

AGE LIMIT

Candidates should be 50 years of age or below by the closing date of submission of applications

Note: Consideration for contractual employment may be given to

applicants above 50 years of age and
applications from foreign nationals

SALARY

The permanent and pensionable post carries a monthly flat salary of Rs 168,320. In case of employment on contractual basis, salary would be negotiable.
